Getting a Guido tan instantly without laying in the sun

Whether you want to look like a guido god or not, tanning can be a time consuming alternative and that orange oompa loompa look is never attractive. Most women use glamorous bronzers, lotions, or sprays that leave a sexy glow, but what should a guy use?? Try a tinted moisturizer! The name says it all, a moisturizer that is tinted so you basically are  protecting your skin while adding a slightly darker tint. This  makes your face look more defined and minimizes pores.

To be hairy or not to be hairy

3 easy to do tips to keep your hair in check.
We’ve all had that one girlfriend who introduced you to painful and awkward processes of waxing, plucking or nair-ing our facial hair, eyebrows, chest hair, and for our more burley men, the back hair. At first you do it just for the girlfriend but then you find yourself with a secret stash of pink colored products even when that girl becomes an ex.  Don’t feel less of a man for grooming your excessive hair, however you don’t want to overdo it either ( gotta leave something for the ladies). Below are some tips and tricks to man up your grooming routine where you look suave but you’re bros won’t make fun of you.

1.       Know your hair type: Your cultural background & genes have a lot to do with your hair growth. Whether your hair  is coarse and thick, or light & scruffy you can’t use the same product as your bromantic other. For the more coarse hair, avoid hair removal creams like Nair or plucking. They can make your hair grow back thicker and wilder. Unless you’re into that beastly look, it’s not healthy for your hair.

2.       Threading: Waxing hurts like hell, plucking can lead to over plucking to the point where your eyebrows look to feminine, and of course  hair removal creams can get messy and have girly smells. Don’t be afraid to venture out into different hair removal techniques. Local salons use threading, which is an eastern technique to shape, trim, and remove the fine hairs near your eyebrows and beard. Women don’t like men with nicer eyebrows than them, so get rid of the uni-brow and keep them clean but natural.

3.       Eye shadow: How many times have you cut yourself shaving, or broke out after? This is common when you don’t use the right razor, shaving cream, or moisturizer. So for those quick shaves where you don’t have time to always use the right products, try an eyeshadow! You girlfriend probably has makeup everywhere, or a single gal friend of yours always carries something. Use a matte ( no shimmery shit) eyeshadow that matches your skin, and apply that after a shave. This will absorb excess oil that may get into pores causing breakouts and make the roots of your facial hair less prone to damage. It’s a quick, clean, and cheap way to pro long the sexiness of your hair and the smoothness of your skin, and I don’t know any girl that doesn’t like that at least a little bit.

After Shave

If you are one of those people like me who constantly has to shave on a weekly basis some of these tips may help and apply to you. Whether you are using your gillete mach 1, electric shaver or anything else to trim the beard chances are you will burn and scrape your face at some point. Although certain creams will help relieve the pain such as cetaphil and other brands the itching will continue. However there is one solution to all this pain and agony, the use of after shave. It will help take away the burning and chaffing caused from shaving. Not only will it help remove the fears of scarring and burning your face it will leave you looking clean and rejuvenated. After shave gels tend to have a scent associated with them which at times can be partnered with a cologne to leave you smelling great.

Scent from Heaven

Whether you are going to the gym or heading to work you should always smell good. How you smell can determine how people look and feel about you. The issue at hand is picking the right cologne that wont stench up the workspace and also have your partner holding there breath. There is one brand i highly recommend if you are trying to smell great but not give annoy everyone around you. Lacoste Essential keeps you smelling great all day with its patented time release technology that allows the cologne to remain firm on your pores.

Guido Look

Style: With the recent upswing of reality tv shows such as Jersey shore, Gs to Gents style or the way men dress and look has dramtically changed. The Guido look has become the new form of style and expression. I wont elaborate too much on the look but I will detail some of its ins and outs. First off the look requires some sort of gel or pomade to spike the hair up then use the blow dyer to create the blow out style. Next of course is the cut off shirts or the small t-shirts from brands such as ed hardy, affliction these will help impress the guidettes or the girls the guidos are after.  Also you cant miss the pants which help distinguish the guidos from the rest they are usually tight and are bleached white. So if you want to party or just look good for the girls the Guido look may be for you.

Steps
1.     Wash your hair
2.     Add a palm full of gel
3.     Use blow dryer
4.     When drying hair push it back and continue to slick it back
5.     Smile you are ready
