To be hairy or not to be hairy

3 easy to do tips to keep your hair in check.
We’ve all had that one girlfriend who introduced you to painful and awkward processes of waxing, plucking or nair-ing our facial hair, eyebrows, chest hair, and for our more burley men, the back hair. At first you do it just for the girlfriend but then you find yourself with a secret stash of pink colored products even when that girl becomes an ex.  Don’t feel less of a man for grooming your excessive hair, however you don’t want to overdo it either ( gotta leave something for the ladies). Below are some tips and tricks to man up your grooming routine where you look suave but you’re bros won’t make fun of you.

1.       Know your hair type: Your cultural background & genes have a lot to do with your hair growth. Whether your hair  is coarse and thick, or light & scruffy you can’t use the same product as your bromantic other. For the more coarse hair, avoid hair removal creams like Nair or plucking. They can make your hair grow back thicker and wilder. Unless you’re into that beastly look, it’s not healthy for your hair.

2.       Threading: Waxing hurts like hell, plucking can lead to over plucking to the point where your eyebrows look to feminine, and of course  hair removal creams can get messy and have girly smells. Don’t be afraid to venture out into different hair removal techniques. Local salons use threading, which is an eastern technique to shape, trim, and remove the fine hairs near your eyebrows and beard. Women don’t like men with nicer eyebrows than them, so get rid of the uni-brow and keep them clean but natural.

3.       Eye shadow: How many times have you cut yourself shaving, or broke out after? This is common when you don’t use the right razor, shaving cream, or moisturizer. So for those quick shaves where you don’t have time to always use the right products, try an eyeshadow! You girlfriend probably has makeup everywhere, or a single gal friend of yours always carries something. Use a matte ( no shimmery shit) eyeshadow that matches your skin, and apply that after a shave. This will absorb excess oil that may get into pores causing breakouts and make the roots of your facial hair less prone to damage. It’s a quick, clean, and cheap way to pro long the sexiness of your hair and the smoothness of your skin, and I don’t know any girl that doesn’t like that at least a little bit.
