Dry Skin to Fly Skin: Winter Skincare tips for Men

Most men don’t realize that when the weather changes so does your skincare routine. Whether you use a cheap ass moisturizer or some fancy smancy product mentioned in GQ,  you MUST use some different products for the season. Try some of these easy to use products recommended below:

     1. Glycerin creams: Winter is the time to switch out moisturizer and go for one that has    “glycerin” listed as one of its first ingredients because this compound attracts water. You’ll notice   the consistency of the cream thicker. This will seep into your skin leaving it moisturized longer and protecting it from cold weather.  Check out this skincare line from Anthony’s. http://www.anthony.com/

2.Hydration Mist: You can get these at any skincare company or get a cheap travel size one from a drugstore. This is basically purified water  & aloe vera  in a spray  and in some cases contain almond oil. This is something you can spray on quickly  throughout the day to refresh your skin. Try Aero Minerale , which can be found at most drugstores.

3.Chapstick:  These are not, I repeat, NOT lipglosses, lipsticks, or in any way feminine products.  Our lips have an oil film on top to protect them from losing moisture however; dry weather can deteriorate that film, leaving the lips chapped and dehydrated . So guys please, if you want to kiss anyone in the future, check out some of these “un-girly” chapsticks that have no shine: Burts Bees, Aquafina or Blistex.
