Moisturizer for Men: How to pick the right one for YOU

When winter hits, the most vulnerable part of your body is probably going to be your face. Sub-zero temperature, low humidity, and strong wind are just some of the elements that can leave your face flaky and dry. Here are some tips to help you find the right one for you

Things to look for:

1. First of all don't be so obsessed with ingredients, most moisturizers have the same ingredients of vitamin E, vitamin C, aloe vera or green tea, don't be fooled by marketing packaging. You want to pick the moisturizer that best suits your SKIN TYPE. Look for ones that say for dry skin, for oily skin, or for combo skin.
2.   Rich vs Light formulas. Rich ones can be feel greasy, and light ones may not seem effective. You can tell what type of moisturizer it will be by the dispenser and brand. Pumps are usually lighter and the bottles you have to squeeze are usually heavier. Neutregena and King of Shaves are great brands for being just right.
Things to avoid:
1.      Avoid moisturizer with alcohol content. It may leave your face feeling cool and fresh, but in reality that’s just alcohol draining moisture from your skin.
2.      Mineral oil, these are difficult to absorb for your skin and can clog your pores.

Happy shopping!
